A recent educational session at the Mary Lib Saleh Euless Public Library brought parents valuable insight into early orthodontic care, led by local orthodontist Dr. J of Stellar Smiles Ortho.
The presentation focused on the connection between jaw growth, bite development, and breathing in children. Dr. J shared how common concerns such as snoring and teeth grinding can sometimes be early signs of airway or developmental issues, and when an orthodontic evaluation—often between ages 6 and 9—may be helpful.
The session included an open Q&A, giving parents the opportunity to ask questions and gain practical guidance in a supportive setting.
“I had no idea that snoring and grinding could be related to jaw development,” one parent shared. “This was incredibly helpful and gave me a better understanding of what to look for.”
The event was shared on the Euless Public Library Facebook page as part of their community programming.
“At Stellar Smiles Ortho, we believe in doing good in our community and helping children build confidence through healthy smiles,” said Dr. J.
The event highlights the importance of early awareness and education in supporting children’s long-term health and well-being.
