Students at Cannon Elementary School had the opportunity to learn about healthy smiles, orthodontics, and future careers during Career Day presentations led by Dr. J of Stellar Smiles Ortho.
Throughout the day, students enthusiastically participated in interactive discussions about what an orthodontist does, how braces and Invisalign help create healthy smiles, and the importance of brushing and caring for their teeth. Students were especially excited during the fun Q&A sessions and character presentations featuring Captain Quacky, the official mascot of Stellar Smiles Ortho.
Using engaging visuals and interactive presentations, Dr. J shared the educational journey required to become an orthodontist and encouraged students to dream big, work hard, and care for others in their future careers.
The event created an energetic and positive atmosphere, with students actively asking questions, raising their hands, and participating throughout the presentations.
“At Stellar Smiles Ortho, we believe in doing good in our community and helping children feel confident about their smiles and their futures,” said Dr. J. “Career Day is always special because you never know which child you may inspire.”
A special thank you to Cannon Elementary School and school counselor Mandy Coburn for the invitation and for creating such a meaningful experience for the students.
Photos from the event captured students fully engaged in the presentations and excited to learn about the world of orthodontics and healthy smiles. For more community stories from Stellar Smiles Ortho, visit:
